From working on ships and submarines in Scotland to building apps in Vietnam, my path has never been conventional. I've grown a cleaning business to 30 employees, helped rebuild homes after the Nepal earthquake, and spent years teaching English across Southeast Asia. Teaching remains central to what I do. Now I build products for language learners and tutors, solving problems I've lived firsthand. I believe the best ideas come from doing the work, not just thinking about it.
